Time:2024-06-24

XINCHANG, China, HANGZHOU, China, and SAN FRANCISCO, USA–June 21, 2024 – NHU and Bota Bio have announced the successful commercialization of their first collaborative project and the establishment of a strategic partnership to cooperate in the field of biomanufacturing. This alliance, rooted in NHU's dedication to innovation and Bota Bio's proprietary full-stack strain development platform, aims to rapidly and efficiently translate cutting-edge biotechnological achievements into industrial value.

NHU has always been dedicated to building a "Bio+" platform. By developing high-performance microbial strains with genetic engineering and synthetic biology technologies, NHU is devoted to producing a variety of high-value-added products in a green, safe, and stable manner. These products are widely used in pharmaceuticals, food, and feed, among other fields. As an industrial biotechnology company, Bota Bio has developed end-to-end technical capabilities from bio-computation and design to high-throughput screening, laboratory-scale validation, process optimization, pilot scale-up, and industrial production. Leveraging their respective strengths, NHU and Bota Bio have fully shared their platform technologies to develop a new generation of industrial strains and processes with higher production efficiency. This collaboration has successfully achieved scalable production and green upgrades. To date, this project has generated substantial economic benefits for both entities, with expectations for continued growth.

This partnership not only marks another successful instance of NHU's adoption and application of world-leading biomanufacturing technologies for production and commercialization, but also highlights the ongoing collaboration with Bota Bio to advance frontier biotechnology in the industrial sector. Moving forward, NHU will continue to embrace the philosophy of "open cooperation" and collaborate with Bota Bio to drive continuous innovation and development in industrial biotechnology. Together, they aim to deliver greener high-quality products and sustainable solutions to consumers.
