Extremely rare in nature; not detected in common plant essential oils, only found in tobacco smoke. Industrial products are mostly synthesized from linalool

Application

Suitable for formulating floral fragrances such as jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and neroli, as well as non-floral fragrances and edible flavours including fougère and citrus types. It can also be used in fragrances for daily chemical products such as soaps, detergents and cosmetics
